REKLUZIV A Belfast born and bred brutalist with an uncompromising "Take No Prisoners" approach, a DJ who as his name suggests, is heard on far more occasions than he is seen. Rekluziv is a product of the mid 1990's Northern Irish rave scene and he has been tinkering with various styles of underground dance music for over 20 years under a host of monikers. Over those two decades, he has delved deeply into an array of genres and sub genres. Taking in Acid House, Bouncy Techno, Breakbeat Hardcore, Happy Hardcore, Hard Trance, Acid Techno, Progressive Trance, Uplifting Trance, Hard House, Funky House, Electro, Drum & Bass, Freeform and Gabber. He has now settled with a sound that is very much in tune with his mid 90's roots. Rekluziv made his first and albeit brief appearance behind the decks of The Giant's Organ during our last show of 2018. He will be returning more frequently in 2019!
JPEG started his addiction for all things dance music at the age of 16 following his first visit to Ibiza in the summer of 1999 as dance music blew up as a cultural phenomenon. Listening to all ranges and genres he bought his first pair of vinyl decks at the age of 18 and was soon playing out at small venues and parties. Not one to be pigeon holed throughout the years, JPEG has experimented different styles on his journey to find where he felt he fitted. Flash forward to present day JPEG's sound can be described as melodic, techy and uplifting house that has proven to be popular whether it is in front of a live audience or from his download series #Rebirth. Becoming resident DJ for DeTached events has only furthered his desire to become a crowd pleaser with his unique, out of the box thinking to keep the audience on their toes throughout his sets. Some artists say that they feel the need to take their audience on a journey, whereas JPEG it is all about the party seeing smiling dancing people embracing the music and living for that moment. Ever seeking to learn more and progress JPEG is now cutting his teeth into production, in an effort to bring his own unique ideas into his DJ sets.
